Frequently asked questions
How do I set up my daily reminder?
Open Settings inside Sundown and choose a reminder time. The app schedules a local notification on your device — make sure notifications are enabled for Sundown in iOS Settings → Notifications.
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your device and syncs through your own private iCloud account (CloudKit). Sundown has no servers and no account of its own, so we can't see your entries. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I connect Apple Health?
Enable the health metrics you want in Settings → Health. Sundown asks for read-only access to Steps, Active Energy, Exercise Minutes, Sleep, and Mindful Minutes. You can change or revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Sundown.
Why aren't my check-ins syncing across devices?
Sync relies on iCloud. Confirm you're signed in to the same iCloud account on each device and that iCloud Drive is on. Syncing can take a moment after you reconnect to the internet.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes the copy on your device. Because entries also sync to iCloud, copies remain there until you remove Sundown's data in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud.
